This comprehensive report offers insight into the ways that Rhode Island colleges and universities are partnering with PK-12 schools to improve education, access and opportunities. The report analyzes and presents data from the Inventory Project and includes key recommendations for policymakers and education leaders in our state.

About the Inventory Project

All Rhode Island colleges and universities participated in the Inventory Project.

Key results of this effort include:

  • Identification of more than 250 PK-16 partnerships across the state.
  • 55 Partnerships highlighted as “high impact” through self-report, with many of these projects now included in the PK-16 Database
  • College and University Profiles revealing the diversity and scope of each higher education institutions’ efforts to promote and support partnerships with PK-12 schools, teachers and students
  • 11 model PK-16 Partnership Case Studies offering excellent examples of successful projects
  • Comprehensive Maps illustrating where PK-16 partnerships are taking place across the state
